Austria: Grants from Industriemagazin and LIMAK Business School

Studying made easy: The industry magazine of WEKA Industrie Medien GmbH and the LIMAK Austrian Business School jointly award partial scholarships in Linz for two MBA and two university courses Sustainable Business and the Circular Economy with a total value of 28,800 euros.

“Changed consumer behavior, new legal framework conditions and current market requirements present companies in all sectors with the challenge of making their value creation more sustainable,” say the editors of the Industriemagazin. Managers must act quickly. That is why the Austrian B2B magazine, together with the LIMAK Austrian Business School, wants to promote participation in the MBA/university course in sustainability and circular economy. 

These offer interested parties the know-how and the tools to react quickly and correctly to changed framework conditions and thus to lead their company successfully into the future with new business models and innovations – “along the entire product life cycle (from resource reduction to product recycling) as well as in the service process”. 

“The old models no longer work, new approaches and extensive adjustments to our own business models are needed,” explains Univ.-Prof. dr Erik Hansen, Academic Director of the LIMAK MBA and University Course Sustainable Business & Circular Economy. With sustainability to corporate success Interested parties can choose from: an MBA in Sustainable Business and the Circular Economy, program start: April 21, 2022 in Linz, and a university course in Sustainable Business and the Circular Economy, program start: October 14, 2022 in Linz. 

The 50 percent scholarships mean an effective funding amount of: MBA: 10,950 euros or university course: 3,450 euros The program fee is: MBA 21,900 euros* or university course 6,900 euros*. *excl. Travel and accommodation expenses, lunch and optional coaching; excl. registration and administration fee, literature (MBA 1,990 euros / university course 690 euros). These sponsors of the support emphasize that the support cannot be combined with other price-reducing campaigns and redeemed in cash for the participants. There is no legal recourse, existing program participants are excluded from participation. The prices are exempt from sales tax according to §6 paragraph 1 Z11, UStG 1994. 

T he application for the funding program is to be made in writing to: stipendium@limak.at. The required application documents are: 

Letter of motivation with description of the personal benefit and/or benefit for the employer The application deadline is March 14, 2022. The best applicants will then be invited to a hearing on March 18, 2022. The initiators of the scholarship campaign ask that participants in the campaign should keep this date free as a precaution.
