The Berlin-Hamburg railway line is to be closed for general renovation from August 1, 2025 to April 30, 2026. The responsible company DB InfraGO wants to set up diversion routes. The umbella organisation of the non federal rail freight companies warns: “The real acid test of the corridor renovations is yet to come.”
